The Jefferson’s Ferry Journey Toward Renewal expansion project has transformed our community campus in South Setauket, NY. We’ve added new apartments for independent living, and memory care residences in The Vincent Bove Health Center. Specially designed for those living with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia, our Memory Care Neighborhood in the Vincent Bove Health Center features 20 new private studio apartments, comfortable gathering spaces, private dining and activity spaces, lifestyle stations, and an outdoor garden with patio.  

Certified Dementia Practitioners on staff work with individuals and family members to create care plans tailored to each resident’s abilities and interests. Programming will include: Music and Memory, art and music therapy, exercise programs including Chair Chi, cooking programs, horticulture, and pet therapy.
