The Girl Scouts presented Earth Day projects that demonstrated the "Health Benefits of House Plants for Earth Day." The girls explained to the residents in attendance how plants help clean indoor air to remove air pollution and the other health benefits of plants. They also donated the plants that they used for their research to Jefferson's Ferry. The troop earned individual Breathe Journey awards for their efforts.
