Cook

Requirements: Prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies to assure that quality food service is provided at all times. Under the supervision of the Executive Chef is responsible for hot food preparation, including accompaniment and garnishes. Capable of lifting up to twenty-five (25) pounds or more. Capable of standing and maneuvering independently and safely around work area. Capable of standing on a tile floor for an eight-hour shift. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be a minimum of eighteen (18) years of age.

Dining Service Supervisor

Regular Part Time
Requirements: Responsible for supervision in the main dining room, health care, personal care, and Cafe, as well as for special functions. Comprehensive knowledge of dining room service techniques, resident relations, plate presentation, sanitation, food handling, personnel administration. If not already ServSafe certified, it is expected that the Dining Service Supervisor become certified within one year from acceptance of this position. Must be a minimum of 18 years of age and capable of lifting 35 pounds or more. Ability to read, write, speak clearly and understand English.

Main Dining Room Server

Requirements: Good communication skills, team orientation, ability to carry and balance 10-15 lb. tray, must be able to stand and walk for length of shift. Stooping, bending, lifting and the ability to move a cart are necessary. High School education preferred.

Recreation Assistant
Health Center
Casual Part Time
Requirements: Assists in planning and implementing programs and activities for residents. Implements diverse and creative programming and activities which challenge all levels of residents. Works with residents daily during group and one-on-one activities. May be required to works with memory impaired residents. Meets with isolated residents to provide socialization and discuss ongoing needs.

Requirements: Valid CDL with P endorsement required, Clean NYS Driver's License

Security Officer

Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Valid NY driver's license and good driving record.

Lifeguard

Requirements: Must be American Red Cross certified in Pool Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR/AED

Porter
Maintenance
Full Time (Evening)
Requirements: High School Diploma or GED. Ability to strip and wax floors, vacuum, assist in set up and breakdown of rooms. Assist maintenance and housekeeping. Trash and linen pick up. Must have a valid NYS driver's license. Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate communication skills. CPR certified. Over time and snow removal may be required.
