Mission
The Foundation shall work in partnership with Jefferson's Ferry Board of Directors, residents, and staff to promote and raise funds to enhance programs and services for our residents and staff.
Dedication Opportunities
Donors who contribute to capital projects or who make a major gift may receive special recognition by dedicating rooms in Jefferson’s Ferry. Many naming opportunities are available to provide donors with the opportunity to lend their names to the Foundation’s efforts to provide enhanced services and programs to present and future residents.
Planned Giving Campaign
The Planned Giving Campaign is designed to preserve the future of our quality programs and services. Depending upon the asset you contribute, the method you select, your personal situation, and other circumstances, you can obtain an immediate charitable
tax deduction, increase your cash flow or reduce your income tax. This method of giving includes revocable and irrevocable gifts.
A bequest in your will is the simplest and most common method of making a planned gift. There are several possibilities; a specific dollar amount or a percentage of the estate. If you are planning to make the Jefferson’s Ferry Foundation one of your beneficiaries, we encourage you to tell us now. We can work with you and your advisors to make sure the bequest is planned and administered properly. It also gives us the opportunity to thank you and to welcome you as a member of the Jefferson’s Ferry Legacy Society.

To cover the cost of essential programs not funded by resident revenue or government reimbursement, utilizing the following fundraising methods:
Special Event
Jefferson’s Ferry and the Jefferson's Ferry Foundation are 501(c) 3 nonprofit organizations and your gift is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Major Gift Campaign… Building Fund Your financial contributions will keep us at the cutting edge of specialty care and will enhance the lives of those who call Jefferson's Ferry "home." It will cover the cost of new construction, repair, and replacement of capital equipment. In accordance with our gift policies, your financial contribution can be earmarked to specific areas that reflect your own personal interests. Endowment Fund The Vincent Bove Endowment Fund: Provides financial assistance to Jefferson's Ferry Residents who might outlive their assets and to establish a scholarship fund to enable less affluent Long Island seniors to live at Jefferson's Ferry.
